This is that damn curmudgeon Layz1 from the Great North Woods of NH again. A quick look at this picture I took on my bike ride the other day and you can see that Fall is just around the corner. Just about time for those of us lucky enough to live just nine hundred miles as the crow flies from polar bear country to get out the snow shovels and ice scrapers. We already had our first frost last night. Did I mention that the bike ride I took this picture on was a first for me, it was a thirty four mile ride that took me four hours and forty five minutes. If my cheeks could have formed a smile, you know the cheeks I'm talking about, they would have broken out in a wide grin of happiness when I got off that bike.
