Well as I write this I have been in Great Falls for just over a month. I have taken a trip to Lincoln Mt to see a stuffed grizzly bear that was hit by a truck in that town. The bear weight in at 830 lbs. That is a big bear even for a grizzly. There is plenty here in Great Falls to do. I have taken some hikes and a couple of bike rides on the Rivers Edge trail. On the left you will find a picture of the apartment I live in. As you can see it is half underground, from this day forth it shall be known as the Butch Cave not to be confused with the Bat Cave no one really knows where that one is except, you know who. You can tell where my place is the Butch Truck, AKA the Bloody Nose is right in front of it and the highway turtle is chained to the rail. I also have the door open, but don't look in it's the maids day off so the place is a mess.I can sun Montana up in one word. Awesome! The weather has been so good that I have been spending most of my time outside and haven't had much time to update the web page. Forty nine out of fifty days have been sunny to mostly sunny. The other two days were cloudy to overcast with just occasional showers. Below you will find a sample of the pictures I have taken. I have been to two rocky mountain towns so far and have many great scenic pictures to post to the page when I have more time this fall and winter. I hope to post again in the next two to three weeks. Enjoy the sample of things to come below. Your favorite curmudgeon Layz1 is going out to take some more pictures hopefully I will get some wildlife shots.
